Clay Sculpture - 2022 - 31cm (height)x 26cm (width) This is a sculpture that I made of a turtle crawling towards the ocean with a fishing net over the body, symbolizing two ways of looking at the piece. Either he is being set free, or being caught. The gold slowly starts to grow back on it as he reaches the ocean, but in the different perspective, the gold disappears when it is being taken away.
Clay Sculpture - 2023 - Wheel 90cm diameter - Penguin 45cm height x 50cm wide for base. - A mother penguin and its child are stuck on their melting home. I will be adding a base coloured in red and adding melting ice chunks to symbolize rising sea temperatures.
